Description: The attribute table has been updated to include descriptors for open channels within this map. Attribute details are below. For questions about 310 permits, please contact the Gallatin Conservation District (GCD) at 406.282.4350.Open channel line segments are updated based on Phase 2 project areas, alongside 77% of Phase 1 project areas using 3 inch orthoimagery and 0.5 meter lidar-derieved DEM. Accuracy is within 1 - meter of center of open channel with 90% confidence. Completed by the MSU Geospatial Core Facility in June, 2025.MSU GeoSWIRL updated line segments based on groundtruthing Summer 2022 and 2023 in the Phase 1 Project area. The overall accuracy of GeoSWIRL edits is 1:1000, since the least accurate reference layer was a lidar-derived DEM of .5m resolution.Field Definitions:- GCD_NAME: Name of Open Channel, Gallatin Conservation District- RECNO: Record Number, unknown source- DLG_STATUS: Digital Line Graph Status (perrenial, intermittent, or no waterway), unknown source- SURVEY_53: Type of water carrier (ditch, natural carrier, no waterway, unclear), unknown source- TYPE: Type of channel as text, Gallatin County GIS- COM_NAME: Common name of open channel, unknown source- ORIGIN: Most recent open channel update source organization, All dataset stakeholders, current June 2025 MSU Geospatial Core Facility- UPDATED: Date of most recent line segment update, All dataset stakeholders, current June 2025 MSU Geospatial Core Facility- NOTES: Notes pertinent to open channel segment, All dataset stakeholders, current June 2025 MSU Geospatial Core Facility- MATERIAL: Material of open channel, unknown source- TYPE_20220602: Type of open channel coded as: 1 = DITCH, 2 = LATERAL, 3 = NEED ID, 4 = PIPED DITCH, 5 = PIPED STREAM, 6 = SPRING, 7 = STREAM, 8 = TBD, 9 = UNCLEAR, 10 = GROUNDWATER FLOW as of June 2, 2022, MSU GeoSWIRL and Gallatin County GIS- SECONDARY_TYPE_20220606: If open channel has second classification: 1 = DITCH, 2 = LATERAL, 3 = NEED ID, 4 = PIPED DITCH, 5 = PIPED STREAM, 6 = SPRING, 7 = STREAM, 8 = TBD, 9 = UNCLEAR, 10 = GROUNDWATER FLOW, 11 = NO SECONDARY FLOW as of June 6, 2022, MSU GeoSWIRL and Gallatin County GIS- RESP_PARTY_20220627: Responsible Party field as of June 27, 2022, Montana DNRC- IRRCODE: Irrigation code (0 or 1), unknown source- STORMWATER_20220822: Stormwater classification in first order (1, 2, 3), City of Bozeman Stormwater Division- Shape_Length: Length of individual line shapefiles calculated in meters, MSU Geospatial Core Facility, published to Bozeman EGDB 20250926
